Los Medanos College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Commission on Recognition of Post secondary Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. The Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, at its meeting January 8-9, 2025, reviewed the 2024 Midterm Report and related evidentiary materials submitted by Los Medanos College. The purpose of the review was to determine the degree to which the institution has made progress in implementing its plans and improving outcomes related to student achievement. After consideration of the Report, the Commission has determined that the institution’s progress is appropriate and has accepted the Report.
